I am 18, as one can see by reading my birth date.
I live in the US, particularly North Las Vegas, NV.
There's a lot to be said of me, yet nothing at all. Movies, art, music and literature are my passions. My art ranges from pencil to pen to digital to prose. I hope you can enjoy some of what I put up here.
I create a lot of fanart as well as fanfiction, just as a warning.

Unfortunately, I cannot post most of my writings, as SheezyArt prolly won't like them. For your reading pleasure: eyepatchrazor.deviantart.com

If there's anything in specific you'd like to know, just ask. Now I leave you with a few quotes:

-"In my experience, those who do not like you fall into two categories: The stupid and the envious. The stupid will like you in five years time. The envious, never." (John Wilmot)

-"Is it better to be feared or respected? I say, is it too much to ask for both?" (Tony Stark)

-"When I get a little money, I buy books; and if there is any left, I buy food and clothes." (Erasmus)

-"My best friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read." (Abraham Lincoln)

Twilight Review... of sorts. posted Nov 23rd 2008, 6:28AM
Mood: DisappointedMusic: Decode - Paramore
I will hardly ever post anything here... but here's a little something I'm willing to share.

There I was, hudled with Danielle and J in the freezing cold of the parking lot of the newest casino in Las Vegas hovering over a cup of too-rich Dunkin' Doughnuts hot cocoa. An hour early and we're still stuck in the parking lot. Damn. Five theatres playing the midnight shows and they had sold out the day before. Makes you glad you bought them three days earlier, right?

Let's skip back to a brief thought on the books.
Twilight was the best of them in all aspects. New Moon was half decent thanks to Jacob and then Ed's reprising role. Eclipse was lacking. At that point, Meyer was pushing. Breaking Dawn was just plain bad. So much happened in the first five chapters that it ruined the whole book. You can not make fifty big events happen in one book and have it work. Everything else lacked because of it. The dialogue got bad, the imagery was left wanting and it was the most anti-climatic ending ever.

Now to the present:
The book was decent. The movie ruined it.

I have seen my fair share of book adaptations and this was the worst so far.

The script sucked. So did the audience I had, mind you. Nothing but squealing 15-year-olds who couldn't keep their traps shut long enough for me to hear half the narrative. Anyways. Pressing on.
The acting was lacking due to the crappy script. An actor can only do so much. Now, I've always liked Kristen Stewart in her previous films. However, because the director failed to grasp the concept of Bella Swann in the first place, her acting was disappointing. Very... perpetually depressed, it seemed.
Rob Pattinson. The world's new heartthrob. Knowing that he has confessed that he can't act worth a damn, he did a surprisingly well job. But there were better faces that could have been cast. Nontheless, his acting TRIES to make up for it, really. Still, not much to work with.
The rest of the casting was fairly decent. Even if Jacob's extensions were badly done and Alice should seem about 2 years younger.

The film itself is completely lacking.
The Cullens and Charlie both had horridly short roles. The entire feel of the book was gone, along with witty banter and the fun-loving Emmett I always loved. It seems that all they did was pick the parts that had the most Edward-and-Bella moments and mash them together unceremoniously. The scenes run together as one, almost. The time lapsing (what little of it there is) was done so gracelessly, you can't even tell time has passed! Not to mention the cheezy special effects...
And with talk of the actors all being contracted for the remaining three, we're going to run into some problems come the end of the next film. Why? Because they skipped an entire, and rather crucial if not slightly dull, informative chapter of the first book explaining the vampiric justice system and just who the Vulturi are. WHOOPS! Therefore, no one will understand why Edward tries to kill himself how and where he does.

Thus: I give the film a whopping two stars... or thereabouts. Sorry... So not worth the squealing girls and cold night air.
